SPRING

We are coming to the time of year when lamb will be most available. Local groceries, butchers and specialty stores will have an abundance of lamb in the next month or so. You may also check with local farms that raise sheep to see if you can buy directly from them. Another meat that is popular at this time of year is goat. Check out those same sources, but also try ethnic markets as they are more likely to carry goat. Feeding your pets in concert with Nature and the seasonal availability of certain meats makes sense for you, your pet, and the planet!
